2.8 Legality

The law is set up to be biased against women. Though times are changing, just very slowly!

The bottom line is, if you feel scared for your life or someone else's life, and they are bigger than you are and aggressive. You had tried to draw attention to the situation or getaway.

Then you can use whatever means necessary.

I mean, stopping a bigger, stronger and more aggressive person requires a LOT more than just trying to ‘hurt them’.

You have to do whatever you need to do, If that means sticking your thumbs in their eyeballs or stamping on their knee cap

Then so be it…

that, as far as I'm concerned, is equal (but every situation is different, and that's your call to make)

Provided you STOP once the fret has been neutralised, you will be ok in regards to the law in most countries.

something else to bear in mind is in most cases if you don't strike first, then it's already too late

You would still be in the confines of the law.

Because its whatever is equal

A 6ft 3 guy who is aggressive vs a 5ft 2 woman whos scared for her life

Kicking them in the knee or balls a few times to get away, is equal.

If you wait until they hit you, and it's too late in most cases.

To add, self-defence is also when someone you know/love is in danger and you're scared for them. It's ok to jump in if you have to recated for their safety!

To quote Cobra Kaia

‘Strike first, strike hard, no mareea’

There is some truth in it.
