Check out the blog on the 7 myths of self-defences for some idea and additional context that won't appear below: Linked Here

  • Running

  • Kicking them in the Groin

  • Pain

  • Staying away

  • Fighting

Running

At some point you will have to run, however things you think about before you try, as you could be putting yourself in even move risk

  • Your shoes

  • How light it is

  • Is it wet

  • How far do you have to run before your safe

  • Is their people their ready to jump in and help you

  • Is their meny trip hazards

  • Your also exposing your back (never ever do this)

Kicking Them In The Groin

Things to think about

  • It's easy for them to block

  • You have to move in to their live side

  • You might just hurt them and not end the problem

Pain

Things to think about

  • Think about the strikes available to you

  • Are you hurting them or damaging their ability to carry out their original objectives?

  • Hurting them can often ecarate their anger

Staying Away

Things to think about

Easier said than done!

  • If you can then great but quite often before you realise you're in danger they already grabbed you or at least within grabbing or striking distance.

  • Moving towards them can sometimes be a way of bleeding the power of their strike. However, training is required but if your exits behind them, it becomes a skill well worth learning

Fighting/ The ‘Just do this’

Things to think about

  • Fighting is for buying time, or if you can finish it by breaking limbs and choking out or maybe even winding them

  • If any one says, ‘Just Do This/or that’ they're not thinking about the problem in the context of YOU…. hate to say it, but I’m willing to bet that that's a man saying them things!
