Before being, make sure you remember the process of learning, and that demonstrated in the video its at a static stance
With that in mind, the first thing you need to do in any grab and pull is to anker yourself into the floor
You do this by dropping your body weight into a wide stance, lowing your centre of gravity.
Once stabilizing the movement, you can begin the escape
However, one other thing to think about is preempting the grab
This is when someone tries to grab, and you perform the escape as they go to grab the arm
They don’t exactly get to grab you, but you have initiated the movement. In this case, you wouldn’t drop your body weight as it will cost you time, and they would have planted their grips on you
Now thats out the way
Here is how to do it
Same side grab (normal grip)
1. Step towards the individual, placing your foot on the outside of their foot
2. Start to bring your elbow towards their elbow
3. Pivot on your lead foot 90 degrees
4. Push, snap or step away
