3.8 Knee Stamp

Probably the most important self-defence strike to learn (my oppenuen)

Where this strick hits

  1. The front knee stamp

  2. The side knee stamp

  3. The rear knee stamp

What to hit with:

  • The heel of your foot, as if you're stepping on something.

How to do it:

  1. Bring your back leg (your striking leg) up, lifting the knee as high as you can

  2. Stamp down throw the leg

  3. Return the kick

  4. Repeat

Pros:

  • It's a relatively simple strike to do for a less trained person

  • Most people don't expect kicks to the leg

  • It can act as a warning to the assailant

  • If landed, their person will not be able to chase you, regardless of their pain tolerance or how many drugs their on

  • It can be used from a range of angles

  • It can be used from a range of distance

Cons:

  • If the strike was effective, they may never fully recover

  • Don't work straight on to a bent leg (however, all legs have to bend and straighten at some point)
