Our programmes are intended to act as an introduction to the world of self defence as well as teach you easy to learn and highly effective skills for anyone thats likely to be affected by gender-based violence

We pull in skills from the most comment and assemble styles while linking them back to the 4 phases of self defence women, in general, could face and constantly consider the contents of their application. 

This includes styles or aspects of specific styles, either to use as an example of what isn't a useful form of women's self defence or a platform for functionality in women's self defence.

The idea is for us to act as a non-bias system, so we can offer impartial advice. Some of the styles below are functional and some are used as a base for education

MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)

Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) 

Boxing

BJJ (Brazilian jiu-jitsu)

Krav Maga

Jeet Kune Do

FAQ’s

  • A round is how we structure our content over a 4 week block, in each round we will have a particular force (some of these are listed below)

    Every Round always addresses what we call the 4 key stages of self defence

    The 4 key stages is a model we have designed to help with defining potentially threatening situations that women and members of the lgbtqia+ community may be faced with.

    The Round is a mini course that focuses on transferable principles over situational techniques.

  • To give you an idea of would you could learn and what the themes

    However, please note that this isn't a comprehensive list nor is it a direct interpretation of what we teach

    Wrist escapes/hand fighting

    Bearhug escapes/clines

    Strangle escapes

    Striking/Boxing/Kickboxing etc

    and many more styles and themes

    Depending on the length of your courses or if you are continuing your development determines what you'll learn

    For newer members/participants the focus is more on the principles used over the specific techniques

    as there are a lot of specific situations and techniques and it would be impossible for us to show you them all

    The principles however can be applied to almost every situation

    If you choose to develop skills then we start to build you into the situation techniques and application of the principles combined (its when it gets super fun).

  • Billing for a Round is done on a 4 week cycle, billed every 4 weekly on a subscription but you can cancel anytime.

  • A Bout is a continuation of the Rounds

    it consists of a minimum of 6 Rounds. This means you get to spend 4 weeks learning and developing skills in each theme.

    Allowing you to absorb the key fundamental principles and develop your own style/strategy.

    Some of our members just want a good understanding of self defence so they can get back on with their lives and enjoy it without to much concern.

    However, self defence is a huuuuge topic and is often misrepresented.

    The 6 month Bout is devised via 6 Rounds, each round has a specific theme, and each theme runs into the next round.

    Meaning you get to learn and develop your skills, building each 4 week cycle, over the course of 6 month

    It doesn't end there as many of our members continue after a Bout period to forever develop and learn.

    As above, the beliefs of joining a Bout gives you ample opportunity to further develop your skills and build confidence.

  • A Bout is billed every 4 weeks on a subscription basis, over the course of 6 months (6-month Courses).
