3.2 Push

The push and be used to transition from a passive stance to a semi-passive or defence stance with ease.

How to do it

  1. Step forwards with your weaker leg

  2. Drop your level, so you have a lower centre of gravity as you push

  3. Possession the hands in line with their centre line, one on top of each over

Where this strick hits

  • The strong hand wants to land on their solar plexus and the other hand on their chest or face

Pros:

  • Creates spaces or to set up strikes

Cons:

  • Can escalate things

  • May not cause any damage
